Owned by the Bernard family since 1983, the magnificent Domaine de Chevalier is at the top of the greatest Crus Classés of Bordeaux. Like a secret garden, this emblematic vintage of the Pessac-Léognan appellation is located in lush greenery to the south of Bordeaux. An estate, a terroir, a vineyard, there are inseparable elements that forge the identity of the Domaine de Chevalier.

The Domaine de Chevalier watches over a rare vineyard of 45 hectares spread over 40 hectares of red vines and 5 hectares of white vines. " Only a great terroir can produce a great wine", likes to remind Olivier Bernard, its manager. A veritable mosaic of terroirs, the Domaine de Chevalier vineyard is planted on soils of black sand and fine white gravel resting on an ideally drained clay-gravelly subsoil. In a philosophy aimed at revealing the most beautiful expression of this exceptional terroir, the vineyard of the property gives pride of place to Cabernet Sauvignon (63%), supplemented by Merlot (30%), Petit Verdot (5%). ) and Cabernet Franc (2%). The emblematic white grape of Bordeaux, Sauvignon Blanc represents 70% of the surface dedicated to white wines, supplemented by 30% of Sémillon.
