Natacha Chave created the Aléofane estate in 2004 in Mercurol. Daughter of a winegrower, she is also the sister of Yann Chave, a well-known Côtes du Rhône winegrower.

She switched to an organic approach in 2010, the result of a real reflection on respect for the living with a touch of biodynamics and the use of biodynamic preparations in the vineyard.

In the cellar, no use of yeasts or enzymes. A precise Crozes made from Syrah and a little Serine which brings an airy side to this wine. Very few inputs, without filtration or fining on a terroir of Pliocene clays covered with alluvium of rolled pebbles.

The result is very convincing. Natacha really knows how to reveal all the finesse of Syrah. Velvet tannins. A subtle balance in the mouth. A talented winegrower.
