Several families stayed there at the same time, sometimes over a century. The property is divided into a farmhouse whose central courtyard gives access to both the cellar, the technical buildings as well as the house and the first plots.
The vines are still there before our eyes. The Napoleonic land register refers to it under the name of Guignards, the origin is still unknown but historical research is in progress.
One of the winegrowers rising from the South West, in Biodynamics, who produces wines of great purity at affordable prices. We like it a lot!
Ile aux hares 2016:
Powerful wine on yellow and white fruit, on the also white flower. With a sacred length in the mouth and a generous nose if you give it time to breathe, it is a magnificent ambassador of Sauvignon Gris, an opulent grape with exotic notes. The micro contributions of other grape varieties slip here and there hints of freshness.
