This locality is located on the Montagne de Beaune, in the hollow of a small valley that is very hot in summer.
This 30-year-old vine looks towards the city of Beaune and is exposed to the rising sun. The plot is located above the AOC Beaune 1er cru "Les Bressandes".

Its soil consists of very white clay-limestone rock and nodules containing barium inclusions.

 Vinification: the whole grape is pressed, cold settling for about 24 hours. The clear must is fermented in oak barrels of several wines in order to maintain purity and minerality. The wine obtained will be aged on lees for 12 months before being bottled.


Established in Beaune since 1985, Emmanuel Giboulot is a pioneer of organic farming, which he immediately adopted and of biodynamics (certification in 1996), which he defends with conviction.
Its vineyard also includes plots in the Hautes-Côtes and Saint-Romain.
