Château CHASSE-SPLEEN 1981
The name of the castle Chasse Spleen evokes Charles Baudelaire, poet of the Flowers of Evil - a collection between horror and ecstasy - who, falling under the spell of wines, would have recognized the power to evacuate melancholy. Located on the Moulis appellation, in the heart of the Médoc, Château Chasse-Spleen covers 90 hectares.
Three grape varieties make up: 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot (20%) and Petit Verdot (7%). The wines of Castle Chasse-Spleen, seductive, round, straight and balanced, would they then have the virtue of giving back the smile in winter and put sun in the life?
