Château MOULIN SAINT-GEORGES 1985
Château Moulin Saint-Georges is located in Saint-Emilion, in Bordeaux. It is part of the Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion. The Vauthier family has remained owners of Château Moulin Saint-Georges since 1921, and today Pauline Vauthier is making two different wines from the 7-hectare vineyard.
Château Moulin Saint-Georges is a blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%), whose age is around 30 years. The harvest is manual and the traditional vinification is carried out in stainless steel vats. Ageing lasts 18 months in barrique, 80% of which is new.
