MHOBA - Pot Stilled - High Ester - 65.20%
Mhoba is an agricultural amber rum produced in South Africa. It is made from a local sugarcane variety called Nkomazi. The cane juice is fermented in part by a local baker's yeast as well as wild yeasts. The distillation is carried out using an iron still designed by Robert Greaves.
The Pot Stilled High Ester’s elaboration include extended fermentation periods with the addition of “cane juice dunder” and lower ABV distillations which produces a high ester, heavier flavoured rum.
