Clos Larrouyat - Phoenix 2021
Le Clos Larrouyat is located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, in the Jurançon appellation. It is a domain created by Maxime Salharang in 2011, in honor of his maternal grandfather, Roger Larrouyat. The 3-hectare vineyard is biodynamically grown on a unique terroir of pebble ground from the Ossau Valley, but is only certified organic . Maxime Salharang mainly cultivates two grape varieties: Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng.
Phoenix is the sweet wine of Clos Larrouyat. It is made entirely of Petit Manseng and contains approximately 35 g/L of residual sugar. The wine is aged for 8 months in barrels of one wine.
Grape variety: 100% Petit Manseng
