Champagne Drémont Marroy - Blanc de Méandre - Blanc de Blancs - Extra Brut
Champagne Drémont-Marroy is located in Charly-sur-Marne, in the Marne Valley in Champagne . The family estate is today managed by Jean-Rémi and Mélanie Drémont . Their great-grandmother, Odette Drémont, was a winegrower and teacher. Their grandparents, Jean-Marie and Geneviève Drémont were farmers and breeders, and only cultivated 1 hectare of vines. It was under the leadership of their parents, Jean-Louis Drémont and Françoise Marroy, that the vineyard expanded from 1 to 7.5 hectares. The estate extends over 4 villages and includes 23 plots. Jean-Rémi and Mélanie Drémont practice viticulture close to and respectful of nature and biodiversity. The vineyard has been certified in organic farming since 2022.
Blanc de Méandre is made from Chardonnay from the 2017 vintage (75%) and supplemented with reserve wines. Malolactic conversion is not desired. The champagne is aged on slats for a minimum of 30 months . It is bottled with an Extra-Brut dosage of 4 g/L .
