Venus la Universal is a project initiated by Sara Pérez of Mas Martinet and René Barbier Junior of Clos Mogador. In 2001, René Barbier Junior had the opportunity to purchase a small vineyard of old vines on a steep and traditional slope called Els Bellvisos , in Priorat , Spain . This vineyard had been abandoned and is located in the middle of a steep grove of holm oaks. Together with Sara, they are putting the vineyard back into production. Today, there are more than 10 hectares in maintain and work under agro-ecological guidelines. Part of the grapes come from purchasing from winegrowers with whom they have very close relationships and who follow the same philosophy and working method.

Partida Pedrer is included in Bellvisos: this plot is north-facing and allows them to harvest Grenache and Monastrell grapes that reflect the freshness of the shady mountain slope and the warmth of the morning sun. The wine is made from Garnatxa Negra , in whole bunches and crushed after a long period of skin maceration. It is aged in terracotta jars .
