Chambolle-Musigny is made from Pinot Noir vines aged 40 years. The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted and then vinified with 60% whole bunches. The vatting lasts 15 days with 5 to 7 punching downs and pumping over. The wine is aged for 13 months in one to five year old barrels (70%) and new barrels (30%), followed by 3 months in vats.
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
"A lacy Chambolle: a delicate nose of faded rose, wild strawberry, and black tea. The palate is caressing, almost tactile, with a subtly mineral finish."
