CHARTREUSE - VEP Yellow - 1 Liter Bottle - 2025 Release - 42%
Developed since the 17th century by the Carthusian Fathers, Chartreuse liqueur is one of the absolute references in the world of spirits. Its recipe, kept secret and passed down to just two monks, is based on the blending of more than 130 plants, flowers, roots and spices. The VEP ( Exceptionally Prolonged Aging ) label distinguishes the rarest vintages, aged for many years in oak barrels to achieve incomparable complexity and depth.
Chartreuse VEP Jaune is produced in very small quantities, with absolute respect for traditional methods. This version released in 2025 , offered in an exceptional 1 liter format, expresses all the richness of the Jaune style, softer than the Verte but with an equally remarkable aromatic complexity. Aged patiently in the Chartreux cellars, it achieves a rare balance between power, elegance and length.
The luminous golden color announces great intensity. The nose unfolds a refined vegetal symphony, where honey, sweet spices, candied fruits, dried flowers and a touch of saffron intermingle. The palate, ample and velvety, reveals a silky texture, carried by a unique aromatic richness: honeyed sweetness, herbal notes and a hint of licorice. The finish is exceptionally long, fresh and spicy, allowing the inimitable signature of Chartreuse to linger.
