Le Clos des Jacobins is located at the gates of the medieval city of Saint-Emilion. The vineyard surrounds the estate and dates back to the 17th century. The 8.5 hectare vineyard is located at the foot of the coast, on a hill between Saint-Emilion and Libourne. It faces south and is located on a limestone rock. The average age of the vines is 30 years.
The harvest is manual and in crates. Sorting is done using optical sorting. The wine is then aged for 18 months in barrels, 80% of which is new wood.
