Maison Boiteau - Le Taillis - Merlot 2018
Maison Boiteau is a high-quality micro-négoce. Born in 1977 in Saumur with a winegrower grandfather in Charentes, Julien Boiteau lived for more than 20 years in Bourgueil where he became passionate about vines and wine. Through his various experiences and the meeting of passionate men with whom he has enriched himself during his 20 years as head of culture at Château Margaux, he created Maison Boiteau in 2014. Today, his wife Maïté joined in the adventure and as a family they work to create a great Charente wine. This ambitious objective implies rigorous specifications: the selection of small plots worked by passionate winegrowers on very specific terroirs, the monitoring and carrying out of certain works throughout the year, the harvest on the chosen plots is carried out through their care, they make sure to protect and preserve the quality of the grapes purchased from meticulous winegrowers.
