Château La Freynelle - Rosé 2020
Château La Freynelle belongs to Vignobles Véronique Barthe. In 1789, Jean Barthe chose Naujan-et-Postiac, hilly land of Entre-Deux-Mers in the Bordeaux region, to plant his first vines. From 1945, Philippe Barthe was in charge of the vineyards for more than 40 years before bequeathing the property to his daughter Véronique in 1990. Today, the property extends over 80 hectares of vines, it is equipped with a modern and technological cellar. The “park” of barrels is made up of around a hundred pieces of stave oak from French forests.
The Rosé de La Freynelle is made from Cabernet Sauvignon harvested at maturity. It is destemmed and crushed, then directly pressed. The selected juices are then vinified like a white wine: settling, cold liquid stalling, selected yeasting, temperature control.
Grape variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
