DOMAINE LES HAUTES TERRES - LES AUTRES TERRES ROUGE 2020
Domaine Les Hautes Terres is located in the Aude Valley, in Languedoc, in the circus of Roquetaillade. This terroir, which dates back 50 million years, is composed of ocher marls with deposits of fossils of small shells, turritelles and nummulites. In 2000, Gilles Azam bought his first vineyard, and today he owns an estate of 13 hectares. He plays with grape varieties, altitude, orientation and organic cultivation to produce elegant and complex wines.
Autres Terres Rouge is a Vin de France made from Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, planted at altitude (350-450 meters). The vines grow here on the Turritelles marls, very rich in small fossils, resting on marine limestone. The vinification is traditional and natural. Aging lasts 6 months in vats.
Grape varieties: Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon
