Dedicated to the sustainable preservation of nature, the Château de Pressac is a leading field in environmental protection. It has adopted the Environmental Management System since its creation and has obtained Level 3 High Environmental Value certification.
The Château de Pressac 2005 is a classic Bordeaux blend: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Pressac (Malbec) and Carménère. The harvest is entirely destemmed and vinified by plots. The wine is aged for 12 months in barrels, 65% of which are new.
The 2005 vintage for Bordeaux was exemplary, producing elegant wines. On the right bank, Saint-Émilion experienced slightly warmer conditions than the rest of Bordeaux and, as a result, produced wines that were more powerful and tannic than normal.
Grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pressac (Malbec), Carménère
