Le Bois Sacré - Agartha 2019
Le Bois Sacré is located in Lucq-de-Béarn, in Jurançon. In 1888, the Saint-Martin family moved into the Cougot house, and since then, generations have followed one another on the farm between breeding, growing corn and viticulture. In 1980, Pierre (the great-grandson) and his wife Rose-Marie turned more to viticulture by restructuring and expanding the vineyard. Today, Laurent and Pauline, the fifth generation, perpetuate the family heritage by adding another dimension: the creation of the Le Bois Sacré wine estate. The vineyard extends over 4 hectares facing the Pyrenees at an altitude of 280 meters. The vineyard is managed with respect for the environment, without certification.
Las Broishas takes its name from the legendary witches, learned healers or revengeful bewitchers, who take possession of the forests of Lucq and Béarn. The wine is made entirely from Gros Manseng whose vines are an average of 25 years old, harvested manually. After pressing and settling at low temperature, the Gros Manseng is fermented in vats. Fermentation ends with the cold of winter and racking of the lees. The wine rests in vats for a few months before bottling. It is bottled with 41 g / L of residual sugars.
Grape variety: 100% Gros Manseng
