Gigi en Provence is a brand of Gin created by Vignobles Austruy (La Commanderie de Peyrassol in Provence, Château Malescasse in Bordeaux, Quinta da Côrte in Portugal and Tenuta Casenuove in Italy). The Gin was designed with Philippe Laclie from the Bercloux Distillery. It is made from aromatics from the Massif des Maures.
The wheat used to make the alcohol base and the botanicals in the recipe come from organic farming. The botanicals used are juniper berry, rosemary, lemon zest, cilantro, olive oil, maniguette and violet. The aromatics are macerated in wheat alcohol for at least 24 hours. They are then distilled in a Stupfler still over very low heat.
