Champagne Benoit Déhu - Initiation 2019
Benoît Déhu Champagnes are produced in Fossoy in the Marne Valley, in Champagne . Benoît Déhu comes from a family of “Champagne Déhu Father and Son” winegrowers. After having worked in the great Bollinger house, he decided to isolate a plot of Pinot Meunier and to promote healthy viticulture respectful of its terroir. His vineyard is worked on horseback, without chemicals and according to the lunar cycles.
Initiation is a Blanc de Noirs made from Meunier and Pinot Noir. The Champagne is vinified and aged for 10 months on the lees in 228-litre barrels. It was disgorged on April 6, 2022 and has not been assayed.
