Domaine Loew - Riesling - Muschelkalk 2021
Domaine Loew is located in Westhoffen, Alsace . Heir to a family present in Westhoffen since the 18th century, Etienne Loew resumed in 1996 the wine-growing tradition of his ancestors with his wife Caroline. The vineyard, conducted in certified biodynamics , is worked with respect for the terroir in order to highlight the geological and climatic characteristics according to each grape variety.
This Riesling comes from the stony terroir of Muschelkalk . It comes from three plots planted between 1967 and 2007. Harvesting is manual and fermentation begins spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged on the lees until spring. This wine is dry (3.2 g/L of residual sugars).
