Clos Larrouyat - Comet - Magnum 2021
Le Clos Larrouyat is located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, in the Jurançon appellation. It is a domain created by Maxime Salharang in 2011, in honor of his maternal grandfather, Roger Larrouyat. The 3-hectare vineyard is biodynamically grown on a unique terroir of pebble ground from the Ossau Valley, but is only certified organic . Maxime Salharang mainly cultivates two grape varieties: Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng.
Comète 2021 is the top-of-the-range cuvée of Clos Larrouyat. This dry Jurançon is made from Petit Manseng (75%) , supplemented with Camaralet , a grape variety originating from the Pyrenees and which brings a spicy aromatic touch.
Grapes: 75% Petit Manseng, 25% Camaralet
