Clos Larrouyat - Meteor 2021
Le Clos Larrouyat is located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, in the Jurançon appellation. It is a domain created by Maxime Salharang in 2011, in honor of his maternal grandfather, Roger Larrouyat. The 3-hectare vineyard is biodynamically grown on a unique terroir of pebble ground from the Ossau Valley, but is only certified organic . Maxime Salharang mainly cultivates two grape varieties: Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng.
Météore 2021 is a dry Jurançon , made from Petit Manseng (60%) and supplemented with Gros Manseng (40%) . The grape varieties are vinified separately, aged in barrels of several wines for 6 months and then finally blended before bottling.
Grapes: 60% Petit Manseng, 40% Gros Manseng
