Domaine Senlanne - Cinsault 2024
Domaine Senlanne is located in Balaruc-le-Vieux, in the Hérault region of Languedoc . Created in 2020 by Nicolas Senlanne , this estate is part of an artisanal approach that respects living things. The estate favors manual practices and low-intervention winemaking. The harvest is carefully sorted, fermentations are carried out using indigenous yeasts, without oenological inputs, fining or filtration. The use of sulfur is limited to what is strictly necessary. Production remains deliberately confidential, with numbered vintages and extreme care given to every detail, right down to the handmade wax corking.
Cinsault is made from Cinsault grapes grown on a plot of schist. Vinification is done by infusion, then the wine is aged for 10 months in 3-year-old barrels .
Grape variety: 100% Cinsault
"The 2024 Cinsault reveals a silky texture and surprising freshness for this often light grape variety. The palate opens with fine tannins, dynamic acidity and a beautiful minerality typical of schist soils."
