Eric Chevalier - Les Gralettes - Fié Gris 2020
Domaine Eric Chevalier is located in the Muscadet Côtes de Grand Lieu appellation area in the Loire Valley. In 2006, Eric Chevalier returned to his family vineyard after 10 years of experience in the wine trade. His sister, Gaëlle , joined him in 2008, leaving an IT job to return to the vineyards. The vineyard is certified organic . The rich and diverse landscape, inherited from a history of mixed farming, is home to natural biodiversity and auxiliary wildlife. In 2017, they planted a 1.5 hectare orchard and grove to promote this biodiversity.
Les Gralettes is made from Fié Gris , a rare and forgotten grape variety resulting from a natural mutation of Sauvignon Blanc.
Grape variety: 100% Fié Gris
"Les Gralettes 2020 presents a clean nose of white fruits, citrus and light vegetal notes typical of Fié Gris. On the palate, the wine is dry, lively, with a nice tension and a slightly saline finish. A wine that combines originality and precision, perfect for those who like to think outside the box!"
