Château Sociando-Mallet produces full-bodied wines with a beautiful dark and deep color. Their bouquet is complex, usually dominated by notes of black fruits, a touch of minerality and a fine, well-integrated oak. Often a little "manly" in their youth, the wines gain in harmony and complexity with age. They are characterized by their freshness, their straightforwardness and their beautiful length.

Château Sociando-Mallet is traditionally a wine for long aging, and great vintages such as 2007 will drink well even after 20-30 years in the cellar.
