Founded near Nantes by Cédric Brément, Les Rhums de Ced has established itself as a benchmark for artisanal rum blends. A selection of agricultural rums, hand-cut fresh fruit, precise infusions, and consistent style define the house's identity. At the end of 2025, the Les Classiques range will adopt new, more readable and eco-responsible packaging, designed to clarify the recipes and enhance shelf impact.
Mangue Passion belongs to the historic collection. Martinique agricultural rum base, fully ripe mangoes, and passion fruit selected for their luscious acidity. Hand-cut, controlled maceration in stainless steel vats, blended with low sugar to preserve the fruity balance. 32% alcohol to combine roundness and freshness. 70 cl format, now presented in the 2025 packaging with a modernized label and optimized closure.
On the nose, luscious mango and fresh passion fruit dominate, with a hint of orange peel and a hint of vanilla. The palate is clean and delicious, with a sweet attack followed by a tangy tension that energizes the fruit. The texture remains smooth without being heavy, with the melted alcohol supporting the length. A clean, tropical finish, slightly zesty, with candied mango and a hint of pineapple.
Serve chilled over ice, as a long drink with a splash of sparkling water, or as a Ti Spritz with dry tonic water and a twist of lime. A great base for a mango passion fruit highball or as a topping for coconut sorbet. Serving temperature 6-8°C. Keep refrigerated after opening and consume within three to four months to preserve the fruit's vibrancy.
