Château Pipeau is a family estate renowned for 4 generations for the quality of its wines, raised with respect for tradition and terroir.
Château Pipeau is a Grand Cru from Saint-Emilion which covers 26 hectares planted on a terroir of clay and limestone soils. The planted grape varieties are 90% Merlot, with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc (5%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) whose average age is 40 years. The vinification takes place in concrete and stainless steel tanks, then the aging is 100% in new oak barrels.
