Domaine Sylvain Dussort - Meursault Vieilles Vignes 2017
Domaine Sylvain Dussort is located in the town of Meursault, in Burgundy. Sylvain Dussort, son of wine growers and coopers, took over the family business with his wife in 1982. Over the years, the estate has grown and now covers 6.5 hectares. Sylvain Dussort produces his wines through sustainable agriculture; the treatments of the vine are carried out with phytopharmaceutical products based on copper and sulfur, according to the needs of the plant, its vegetation and the weather. The fertilizers are organic and the vinification is carried out traditionally, with natural ferments without any contribution of yeast.
The Meursault is made from Chardonnay from one parcel located in a place called "Le Tesson", whose stony soil is made up of a subsoil of hard rocks. The vines are harvested manually, then the aging takes place in barrels, on lees between 16 to 18 months before bottling.
Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay
