Cellier Saint Benoit - Côte de Feule - Ploussard 2019
Le Cellier Saint Benoît is located in the village of Pupillin, in the Jura region. The family farm has existed for 4 generations, but was devoted to mixed farming with the crops sold to the Pupillin cooperative. Denis Benoit, of the 3rd generation, made the decision to focus all his work on the vine, to also integrate the work of the cellar and created the Cellier Saint Benoit within the old farm building of the family. Today, the next generation is being handled by Benjamin Benoit, a graduate of wine studies in Beaune with experiences in Burgundy and New-Zealand. The vineyard is managed in sustainable agriculture.
The Côte de Feule comes from vines cultivated at a place called "Feule" and facing south. It is composed of Ploussard with a few plants of Trousseau. 1,517 bottles were produced.
