Clos d'Audhuy - The Pranks 2020
Le Clos d'Audhuy is located in Lacapelle-Cabanac, in the Cahors appellation in the south-west of France. In 2014, Benoit Aymard took over part of the old family estate with his wife and children. Today, he cultivates 15 hectares of vines on unique terroirs. The estate is in conversion to organic farming .
Les Polissons is made from Malbec whose vines are around 30 years old. The maceration is short and the vinification carried out at low temperature, the extraction being made by punching down and pumping over. Aging takes place in stainless steel vats with several rackings. The bottling is early in order to preserve the freshness and the fruitiness of the wine.
Grape variety: 100% Malbec
