Dehours et Fils - Terre de Meunier - Extra Brut
The Dehours estate is located in Cerseuil, in the Marne Valley in Champagne . Jérôme Dehours took over the family vineyard in 1996 after studying at the wine-growing schools of Beaune and Avize. He is accompanied by his brother-in-law Jean-Marc Laisné with the aim of highlighting the diversity of the plots they cultivate. The vineyard is made up of around forty plots, planted mainly with Meunier. The estate is certified with High Environmental Value and encourages respect and development of biodiversity.
The Terre de Meunier cuvée comes from two plots: “Le Patis de Cerseuil” facing south, and “Les vignes dans le bois” facing north. The base of the wine comes from the 2019 vintage, supplemented with a small proportion of 2018 reserve wine from the place called "Les Genevraux". The wine was disgorged in February 2022 and bottled with an Extra-Brut dosage of 6 g/L .
