Domaine François Crochet - Le Grand Chemarin 2019
Domaine François Crochet is located in the village of Bué, in the Sancerre appellation in the Loire Valley . The family estate was taken over in 1998 by François Crochet after training with Burgundian winegrowers. He farms 11 hectares of vines certified in organic farming . He favors single-plot vintages and his aging is carried out in such a way as to preserve the expression of the fruit and the terroir.
Grand Chemarin is made from Sauvignon Blanc , coming from a 30-acre limestone plot on the Grand Chamarin terroir. The wine is aged in tuns for 11 months .
