Champagne Emmanuel Brochet - Le Mont Benoit - Extra Brut 2021
Champagne Emmanuel Brochet is an estate located in Villers-aux-Noeuds, in the Montagne de Reims in Champagne . Since 1997, Emmanuel Brochet has produced a confidential cuvée (rarely more than 10 to 12,000 bottles per year) from 2.53 hectares of Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines. His vineyard is located on the Mont Benoît classified Premier Cru , and is certified organic .
The Le Mont Benoît cuvée is a blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay from the 2021 harvest, supplemented by 40% reserve wines. Vinification was carried out in barrels, with indigenous yeasts. Aging lasted 11 months in barrels on lees .
