EGIAZKI - Patxaka - Aniseed Apple Liqueur - 25%
Egiazki produces Basque spirits in Saint Pée sur Nivelle, in the Basque Country . The company was founded by twins Camille and Benjamin Fourt Arteaga . In order to fully control their production, they planted 825 blackthorn trees in Navarre to produce Patxaran Egiazki. They quickly decided to become specialists in Basque liqueurs, combining tradition and modernity. Through research into recipes and local producers, they gradually expanded their range, now producing Manzana, Patxaka, Jinkoa, and Menta.
Patxaka is a traditional apple liqueur, created by macerating wild apples from the Basque Country for 3 months in aniseed-flavored alcohol.
" Patxaka surprises with its roundness, finesse and a slightly spicy, almost peppery finish. Basque twist: serve it chilled, accompanied by sheep's milk cheese... or dare to try it with a green apple sorbet!"
