Crystallum is one of the flagship estates of the new South African wave, founded in 2007 by Peter-Allan Finlayson, a central figure in the qualitative rise of Cape wines. Mainly located in the cool Hemel-en-Aarde region near Hermanus, the estate quickly established itself as a reference for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Cinema cuvée holds a special place in the range, conceived as a transversal and accessible interpretation of the Crystallum style. It comes from a blend of several carefully selected parcels, mostly located in Hemel-en-Aarde and its peripheral zones. The maritime climate, marked by the direct influence of the Atlantic Ocean, allows for slow and balanced ripening. Cinema thus aims to combine precision, indulgence, and regional identity.
