This blend by Carole Aurore for the Itinéraires range highlights all the complexity of the terroir of the Neisson distillery, renowned for its pure and elegant agricultural rums. The nose opens with refined notes of fresh cane, tropical flowers and dried fruits, enhanced by nuances of incense and noble wood brought by Mizunara. On the palate, the ample and velvety texture expresses a remarkable balance between sweetness, fine spices, vanilla and slightly smoky touches. The long and vibrant finish testifies to the mastery of the art of blending. A premium agricultural rum at 52.50%, at once powerful, sensual and with great aromatic precision. Neisson Profil Équilibre – Carole Aurore – Mizunara Blend, bottled at 52.50%, is an exclusive edition in the Itinéraires series, born from the collaboration between the Neisson house and distiller Carole Aurore. Located in Le Carbet, on the north coast of Martinique, the Neisson distillery remains one of the last family-run agricultural rum workshops, a symbol of excellence and artisanal precision. It perpetuates a know-how centered on blue cane and absolute respect for the Martinique terroir.

This Profil Équilibre vintage is distinguished by a unique blend incorporating partial aging in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels, a rare wood renowned for its porosity and complex aromas. The marriage between the vibrant character of Martinique agricultural rum and the aromatic nobility of Mizunara gives the distillate exceptional depth. Aged in a tropical climate, this rum combines power, elegance, and exoticism.

The nose opens with a floral and spicy aroma: bourbon vanilla, sandalwood, fresh coconut, and orange zest. Upon aeration, notes of ripe cane, honey, and black tea emerge. On the palate, the texture is silky and ample, blending the roundness of candied exotic fruits with the mineral tension of agricultural rum. The Mizunara brings a unique signature, between incense, cedar, and fine spices. The finish, long and precise, stretches with nuances of white pepper, ginger, and dried flowers.

An agricultural rum of rare harmony, at the crossroads of Martinican and Japanese traditions, where power and refinement come together in perfect balance.
