Penderyn 15 Year Old, 2010 Vintage – Bourbon Cask, bottled at 56.80%, is a rare edition selected for the Whisky Live 2025 Itineraries collection, illustrating the mastery and singular identity of the Penderyn Distillery, pioneers of modern Welsh whisky. Founded in 2000 in the Brecon Beacons National Park, the distillery is distinguished by the use of a unique pot still, the Faraday Still, which produces distillates of exceptional purity and finesse.

Made from a single bourbon cask, this 15-year-old single cask showcases Penderyn's expertise in the art of long maturation. Wales' cool, humid climate gives the whisky a slow, controlled development, maintaining a balance between aromatic intensity and elegance. Unchill-filtered and bottled at cask strength, this 15-year-old expresses the quintessential house style: a clear, precise, and remarkably textured distillate.

The nose reveals refined aromas of vanilla, honey, and stewed yellow fruits, enhanced by notes of coconut, almond, and sweet oak. On the palate, the strength of the alcohol content blends into a smooth and perfectly balanced texture. Flavors of caramel, malted cereal, roasted pineapple, and bourbon vanilla intermingle with a subtle minty freshness.
