Château PETIT-FAURIE-DE-SOUTARD 1986
This classified grand cru covers 8 hectares within the Saint-Emilion appellation . It benefits from a clay-limestone and sandy soil at the foot of the coast, on which vines of 30 years old on average are planted. Its grape variety is made up of 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet-Sauvignon.
Its owner, the Capdemourlin family , supported by Michel Rolland, has opted for phytosanitary protection through reasoned control. She practices manual harvesting in perforated crates. The wine is matured in new oak barrels which are renewed at 50% each year .
