The origins of Château Haut-Bergey date back to the 15th century. Today the estate has 40 hectares located in the heart of Léognan, the Mecca of Graves and the Pessac-Léognan appellation. The terroir of rare complexity allows the making of great red, white and rosé wines.
The Paul cuvée is cultivated biodynamically, like the entire production of Ch. Haut Bergey. It is to date, in 2018, the only biodynamic property in Pessac Leognan.
This red Pessac-Léognan from Château Haut-Bergey has a dark red color, moderately dense and mellow on the palate, with aromas of blackcurrant, mocha, chocolate, coffee and herbs. The bouquet is pleasant, with a wood that mixes discreetly with fruits and leather. On the palate, the same aromas are confirmed to compose, with elegant tannins, a very successful ensemble.
