Château TOINET FOMBRAUGE 1967
Château Toinet Fombrauge, family owned since the beginning of the century, is located in the commune of Saint Christophe des Bardes, a neighboring commune of Saint Emilion and covers 7 ha 50. This situation allows us to benefit from the AOC Saint Emilion and Saint Emilion Grand Cru .
The vines, with an average age of 45 years, are planted on limestone clay soil, which makes it possible to produce powerful wines capable of aging for several years. Our vineyard is made up of 60% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
For the sake of quality, the harvest is carried out manually for a better selection of the bunches. The harvest is then sent to our vat room to be sorted on a special table. The grapes are then placed in thermoregulated concrete vats to be vinified traditionally.
The resulting wine will be aged and aged in oak barrels, before bottling.
