Château CADET-PIOLA 1981
To grasp the spirit of this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé dating back more than two centuries, just look at its label. Designed at the beginning of the 20th century by Robert Villepigue, former owner, it represents, in a pure and classic line , a bucolic scene of the 18th century where men and women taste without restraint the pleasure of wine . Here is in a few pencil lines the whole philosophy of the estate, between naturalness, classicism and rejoicing .
Alain Jabiol and his daughter Amélie, current operators, love this label which has become a symbol of the castle and which others have tried to copy. A single rule animates them, that of the pure expression of their terroir admirably located in the heights of the north slope of Saint-Émilion .
