The David-Beaulieu family does not seem tempted by the famous Saint-Émilion classification either. Coutet could claim, at the very least, the Grand Cru Classé appellation, or even 1er Grand Cru Classé. Because the location of the vineyard is one of the most beautiful in the area: the vines are planted on the limestone plateau overlooking Angélus (1st GCC A) and adjoins Beau-Sejour Bécot (1st GCC).
