Château Lestignac - Ancestral 2019
Château Lestignac is located in Sigoulès-et-Flaugeac in Périgord . Two activities coexist: viticulture in Lestignac, and an activity of merchants-winemakers through the Hors les Murs house for the production of thirst-quenching wines from grapes grown in organic and/or biodynamic agriculture. Lestignac consists of 3 blocks of plots over 7 hectares.
L'Ancestral is a parcel-based cuvée made from Cabernet Franc grown on a limestone molasse terroir. The maceration lasts a minimum of two weeks and the wine is aged in a combination of wood and terracotta for 24 months . The wine was bottled by Camille and Mathias Marquet with the complicity of Arnault Raoult and Sandrine Aucher.
