Ricci family - Exception - Fiji 2001 - 22 years - 58.20%
The Famille Ricci company specializes in the breeding, bottling and blending of spirits from multiple sources. It was founded by Morgan Ricci in 2019 in Mougins, in the Alpes Maritimes . The independent bottler receives already distilled alcohols, which will benefit from a second aging before being assembled and bottled in the south of France.
This edition of the Exception range is a rum from Fiji ( South Pacific distillery) located in Lautoka in the second city of this island. This rum was distilled in a pot still and then aged for 22 years in ex-Bourbon barrels . It was then refined in barrels that had contained Caroni rum .
