Audemus Spirits - Covert Liqueur - 33%
Audemus Spirits is a micro-distillery located in Cognac . It was founded by Miko Abouaf in 2013. He pioneered the use of a Rotovap rotary evaporator in France: by lowering the pressure inside the still, the temperature at which the alcohol boils is reduced, which allows the distilled botanicals not to be cooked and thus guarantees the freshness of their flavors. The maceration time, botanical ratio, alcohol, distillation time, pressure and temperature depend on the botanical character. Once all the botanicals are distilled, they are blended together with a French neutral grain alcohol. Audemus Spirits produces gin, liqueurs, bitters and hybrid spirits.
Covert liqueur is made from fig leaves, cognac and spring honey . It can be consumed as a digestif, neat or on ice.
" A sweet nose of fresh fig leaf, enhanced by honeyed and woody notes. On the palate, a velvety roundness, where the cognac brings depth and warmth."
