Domaine Loïc Mahé - Petit Moulin - Brut Nature
Domaine Loïc Mahé is located in Savennières, in the Loire Valley. The first vines were planted in 2000. Subsequently, some promising plots were gradually taken over, while others had to be abandoned following the successive spring frosts of 2016 and 2017. Loïc Mahé now cultivates 4.5 hectares of certified organic vines and also operates a wine trading business . As part of this trading activity, he offers vintages produced in collaboration with other trusted organic or biodynamic winegrowers.
Le Petit Moulin is made from Chenin Blanc from the terroirs of Anjou Noir, and from the trade. The wine is produced using the traditional method , aging on slats for a minimum of 24 months . It is bottled without dosage .
Grape variety: 100% Chenin Blanc
"The Chenin Blanc expresses itself brilliantly here, between notes of fresh apple, white flowers and a chalky tension. Fine bubbles, elegant and thirst-quenching finish. Its mineral tension sublimates seafood, sashimi, matured goat cheese and creamed poultry."
