Godo Shusei - La Yuzu - Yuzu liqueur - 15%
Godo Shusei is a Japanese alcoholic beverage company renowned for its expertise in shōchū, sake, fruit liqueurs, and ready-to-drink beverages. Founded in 1924 through the merger of four Hokkaido-based shōchū producers, its roots go back even further, to 1900, with the establishment of Nippon Shusei Seizō. In 1963, the headquarters were relocated to Tokyo, and Godo Shusei is now a central component of the Oenon Holdings group, which includes several beverage companies. The company has two main production facilities. The first is located in Asahikawa , Hokkaido, where it produces mainly shōchū (about 70% of production), but also a small amount of sake and neutral spirits. The second site is located in Matsudo , Chiba Prefecture, near Tokyo, and specializes in the production of sake, shōchū, Japanese liqueurs and mirin (a sweet rice-based condiment).
This yuzu liqueur is made by blending fresh yuzu juice and syrup in neutral alcohol. It can be used to transform a classic cocktail (gin sour, margarita, Negroni, etc.) into a creative twist.
" A delicate nose of candied yuzu zest opens onto a lively palate, balanced between lemony freshness and silky sweetness. Try it as a white Yuzu Negroni or as a yuzu Spritz for a Japanese-style summer aperitif."
