Anchored in Guadeloupe, north of Basse-Terre, the Bonne-Mère Distillery (DBM) perpetuates a centuries-old heritage, born at the end of the 18th century and becoming a distillery in 1863. Integrated into the La Martiniquaise group since 1998, it ages its rums in an impressive cellar of nearly 10,000 barrels, one of the largest in the Overseas Territories. Each vintage embodies a subtle balance between tradition, authenticity and quality standards. The Rhum Vieux XO – Grande Réserve – Cuvée Eden (43%) is a refined blend of rums aged between 6 and 15 years minimum. This patient aging in oak barrels gives it a rare complexity, where power, elegance and aromatic depth intermingle. Sought after by enthusiasts, this XO illustrates the house's unique expertise and has already been recognized with several awards in 2025. Upon tasting, the Rhum XO DBM reveals a clear and brilliant ochre-brown color. The nose seduces with its silky intensity: acacia honey, syrup, blond caramel, candied citrus fruits and dried fruits, enhanced by woody spices (nutmeg, fern). The palate, lively and full, develops an elegant texture with integrated tannins, blending fruit brandy, delicate undergrowth and a long, roasted finish, with a subtle touch of blond tobacco. Integrated into the La Martiniquaise group since 1998, it produces traditional rums in a vast cellar of around 10,000 barrels , one of the largest in the Overseas Territories.

The XO “Grande Réserve” – Cuvée Eden (43%) is a blend of rums aged between 6 and 15 years minimum , sought after for its elegance and complexity, combining woody notes and ripe fruits. Several 2025 distinctions highlight the house's high standards.

Intense and silky nose: acacia honey, syrup, caramel, candied citrus fruits and dried fruits on a woody-spice background (fern, nutmeg). Lively and long palate, with integrated tannins, taking up the fruit (fruit brandy), a delicate undergrowth and a full, roasted finish , with a touch of blond tobacco . Ochre brown color, clear and brilliant.
