Domaine de l'Horizon - Mar I Muntanya 2018 

The Domaine de l'Horizon is relatively new since it was created by Thomas Teibert in 2006. Enthusiast since his childhood and after studying oenology, he now owns 15 hectares in Calce, in the Catalan coasts.

"Mar Í Muntanya" Red 2018 comes from vines grown in the village of Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes, near Perpignan. The blend is made of 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache Noir aged between 15 and 50 years old. Vatting occurs in whole bunches with a semi-carbonic maceration. The maceration is short (about 5 days) with very little extraction. The wine is then aged for 8 months in stainless steel vats, concrete and tuns for a supple and fresh wine.
